Socialise and Connect
Our Gather and Collaborate programs at The Shed encourage socialisation, connection to the OPTIONS community and gain greater community awareness. Participants use teamwork to plan and participate in these special events.
EVENT PLANNERS
Join the Event Planners and engage in events and activities that help with fundraising, Options Events, Community Events, celebrations and parties.
OPTIONS DAYS
Multiple fun days are held throughout the year, where teams participate and compete for the OPTIONS Cup. This is an opportunity to meet with other participants that attend our other services in OPTIONS.
FUNDRAISING
Our Fundraising Groups work on events such as Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea, Daffodil Day and RSPCA CupCake Day. They work together on projects such as baking, serving and selling cakes, biscuits and slices and promoting our fundraising events.
COMMEMORATIVE DAYS
OPTIONS hold and participates in multiple COMMEMORATIVE DAYS throughout the year. This allows you to reflect respectfully with support on a specific day that has been chosen to be Commemorated. Anzac Day is always an important one on the calendar.
AWARENESS DAYS
OPTIONS is a proud supporter of many Awareness Days that take place throughout the year. These days are where discussion, information and awareness on different community issues and subjects are addressed.
COMMUNITY EVENTS
OPTIONS is always looking for activities and events that are happening in the local community to be involved in. This is a great opportunity for participants to take part in different events.
