Our Link and Connect programs at The Shed build positive social interactions and connections with other participants and learn to safely navigate, explore and experience new things in the community.
EVERYDAY EXPLORERS
It’s time for some adventure with the Everyday Explorers Group. Visit exciting locations and explore places of interest such as art galleries, zoos and museums.
SOCIAL TRACTION
Get Social with the Social Traction Groups. Enjoy the outdoors and try new activities at a variety of places across the Central Coast and Lake Macquarie region.
AIM TO LINK
Our Aim to Link Groups enjoy travelling together via public transport. They learn to navigate a variety of transport including trains, buses, ferries using their Opal Cards to discover new and exciting places to visit.
SOCIAL PHOTOGRAPHY
Our Social Photography Groups at The Shed enjoy visiting interesting locations and capturing photos from different views and perspectives. They learn basic photography skills while exploring new places.
ALL THINGS SOCIAL
Our All Things Social Groups like to meet up and enjoy time together. They develop friendships while enjoying a variety of social interactions in the community.
HERE, THERE, EVERYWHERE
The Here, There, Everywhere Group like to head off on different trips to fun locations across the Central Coast and Lake Macquarie region. They enjoy a range of social group activities.
